Reunion Fees:  The fee for this year's reunion remains at $135 per person.  This covers all of the off-site activities listed below, including motor coach transportation and admission, as well as the Saturday evening banquet.  Please return the enclosed LCT Flotillas Registration Form along with your reunion fees to Jane (address listed below) by March 15, 2009.

Scheduled Activities (...as of this writing - subject to change):

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CSS H.L. Hunley - She killed more of her own crew than she did Union sailors during the American Civil War.  Nevertheless, the Confederate submarine Hunley stands as the first submersible to successfully attack and sink another warship.  The story is fascinating, and we will visit the recently recovered submarine at the Warren Lasch Conservation Center, located in the old Charleston Navy Yard.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patriot's Point - Home to a "fighting lady" (USS Yorktown [CV-10]), and "a ship that would not die" (USS Laffey [DD-724]), as well as other historic ships, aircraft and artifacts, Patriot's Point is a must see for those with even the most casual interest in Naval history.  USS Yorktown was recently fitted with an elevator to provide those who are "mobility challenged" the means to transit easily from the pier to the flight deck level, and selected decks in-between.
